the reason for this blog
Blogs are the “thing to do” nowadays. For that reason, part of me rebels against doing this whole blog thing. But, another part of me rebels against the rebelling part of me and wants to write as much as I can on this thing to share ideas.
One of the things that always bugs me about smart people with really good ideas is that they never share them. Not that I’m smart or have good ideas, but I like sharing. I think we’ll only move forward in our discussions about the canon, Scripture, and hermeutics by talking about them in blogs like this.
The fact is, very few people are ever going to read this blog. Basically that means I’ll be writing for myself, and that’s ok too. I need the practice at writing.
I hope you all enjoy it nonetheless, and I hope to write some thought provocating posts. Comment as you feel led to.
